About me

I paint when I am truly being myself. For me, this is the space where I can always return to my core. It is a certain path that—even when untrodden and confronting me with fearsome parts of myself—I know from my primal intuition will ultimately lead me back to myself.

On the canvas, I can release the parts of me that I have already explored, healed, and outgrown. What was once a process within me lives on by taking shape in the painting, freeing up space for new and better things. This is not about denying or hiding the past, but about embracing the rugged road and continuous evolution.

The vibrant palette of my paintings does not oppose a strict and closed reality; instead, it shows that another path is possible. Strong colors and forms embody the new and the previously unknown. I primarily paint abstract works because that is where I find the greatest freedom: I don’t tell stories; I reveal states of being that the audience can connect to.

Through my art, I don’t just heal myself; I want to give viewers space for realization, peace, or even simple joy. For me, creation is courage—facing what is and setting out for our own sake.

My series Burnout Medicine was completed in 2025. Through my own journey, I show what it is like to live with burnout and how it permeates a person down to the cellular level—be it in work, private life, or relationships.

The series is neither a cure nor a diagnosis, but the imprint of a state of mind. I recommend it wholeheartedly to those already in the depths of it, and to those who are just starting to notice that it’s becoming harder to breathe. The path is different for everyone—unique in its length and its depth.
